Flying Radio Controlled Models is a fun and exciting hobby. All too often, however, the beginning pilot’s dream ends too quickly when they try to learn to fly on their own. Flying R/C models takes practice and requires skills that are learned. A flight instructor can assist you in setup, trimming and flying your first model safely and successfully.

The R/C Gulls Model Airplane Club has been training beginning pilots in Eastern Maine for over 20 years and is sanctioned by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA), the worlds largest organization promoting the fun and safety of the hobby. We are always looking forward to meeting new members.

A Gull's application form is available that can be printed and mailed. Upon joining the Gulls, you will be provided with a copy of the Club Constitution and By-Laws and a list of the membership, which designates all Club officers and Club-qualified Flight Instructors. The R/C Gull's 2002 membership rates are shown in the table below.
